Rep. Roger Skraba Statement on Wildfires in Northern Minnesota

Saint Paul – Representative Roger Skraba (R-Ely) released the following statement about the wildfires which have been raging across Northern Minnesota since Friday. 

Governor Walz issued an Executive Order that will allow the National Guard fire suppression team to support the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources and other agencies fighting the fires.

“I want to thank all the emergency personnel who have been responding to the incident. I am on my way back home and will be meeting with the Governor. I am glad we are able to work together to support the affected communities, provide resources to those in need, and ensure everyone stays safe as recovery efforts move forward.”
