HF 3832 Passes Unanimously Off The House Floor

Saint Paul, MN- Today the Minnesota House of Representatives passed House File 3832 off the house floor. Authored by Representative Natalie Zeleznikar (R-Fredenberg Township), HF 3832 modifies the definition of compounding a drug to exclude a flavoring agent but does not change the drug’s intent.
“This improves the taste of medications for all ages including young children, or those who have taste changes due to medical conditions,” said Rep. Zeleznikar. “This bill gives clarity needed for the Board of Pharmacy for ease in medication administration for all ages. I spent 40 years serving seniors and disabled adults, and understand how important it is to respond to patient needs for the best outcomes, and this common sense bill does just that. I appreciate the bipartisan support”
The House passed this bill unanimously off the floor today.
