Demuth participates in roundtable with J.D. Vance

ST. PAUL, MN – Following a roundtable discussion with Vice President J.D. Vance, House Speaker Lisa Demuth reiterated her previous calls for Minnesota leaders to lower the temperature and work together to improve Minnesota.
“The current friction between the state and federal government serves no one. It is time for us to stop inflaming tensions and start the hard work of pulling together,” said Demuth. “Vice President Vance was here today to work on calming tensions, and I am grateful for that kind of leadership from our highest levels of government. Let’s lead by example, replace inciting rhetoric with steady leadership, and make Minnesota a place where we solve our problems through dialogue, not disruption.”
